Techniques: drying and storage control<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n
\n

Drying is an essential stage, requiring precise, rigorous know-how to obtain a finished product that is fit for purpose. To achieve the desired moisture content, the MENDOZA sawmill has 450 m3 of traditional dryers and 15 m3 of vacuum dryers<\/strong> for thicker lumber. The thermal energy used for drying comes from a recent biomass boiler, fuelled by the bark generated by the sawmill’s production. <\/p>\n

Several covered areas under hangars enable us to store our planks, trays and lumber<\/strong> in order to re-dry the wood under the best possible conditions and preserve the quality of our products.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n

In order to offer top-quality products, we pay close attention to the choice of our modern, high-performance machinery, investing in equipment with optimized yields and performance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Our sawmill processes around 20,000 m3 of logs<\/strong> a year, and therefore opts for production tools that are regularly renewed throughout the various stages of woodworking and its transformation into materials.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
